NAHCON FIXES FEBRUARY 8, 2026 DEADLINE FOR 2026 HAJJ PILGRIMS’ DATA CAPTURE

🕋 NAHCON FIXES FEBRUARY 8, 2026 DEADLINE FOR 2026 HAJJ PILGRIMS’ DATA CAPTURE

Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria – January 26, 2026:

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has reaffirmed that Saturday, February 8, 2026 is the final deadline for data capturing of all intending Nigerian pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise. This directive has been emphasised by several state pilgrims’ welfare boards, including the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, which officially stated the same deadline in its recent announcement.

📑 What Pilgrims Must Do

  • Intending pilgrims are required to ensure that:
  • All personal details — including full names, dates of birth, and nationality — are correctly entered;
  • Passport details are fully captured and uploaded;
  • Photographs and supporting documents (such as medical certificates and identification pages) are correctly submitted.
  • Failure to complete data capture by February 8 could result in disqualification from the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage, as NAHCON will not entertain data submissions past the deadline.

Why This Matters

  • Data capturing is the first and most critical step in the Hajj registration process under Nigeria’s quota system. Accurate data is required before:
  • Visa processing can begin through the Saudi Nusuk Masar platform;
  • Airline tickets are issued;
  • Transport and accommodation arrangements are finalised.
  • NAHCON and state boards have urged all approved pilgrims and prospective candidates to act promptly and verify their information ahead of the deadline.

📣 State Boards, NAHCON & Al Jawaaz Calls for Urgency

Pilgrims have been urged to:

  • Visit their state pilgrims welfare board offices immediately if they have not yet completed data capture;
  • Use official NAHCON channels and authorised agents only;
  • Avoid third-party intermediaries who might submit incomplete or incorrect information.
  • Officials warn that late or incomplete submission will likely lead to pilgrims being left out of the 2026 Hajj programme.
