In what appears to be a clear warning to all intending pilgrims across the world, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recorded a shocking surge in Hajj 2026 applications — over 72,000 people applied, but only 6,228 were officially granted slots by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah

The heartbreaking figure means more than 65,000 people who dreamt of performing Hajj next year will not make it, despite their readiness, prayers, and early preparations.

Authorities in the UAE have explained that the selection process will favor those who registered early, have never performed Hajj before, and meet the strict Saudi guidelines. But for thousands of others, the opportunity is gone — simply because the available quota was far smaller than the number of interested pilgrims.
Nigerians, Take Heed Before It’s Too Late!
Nigeria is already facing the same situation as Saudi Arabia has reduced our Hajj slots from 92,000 to just 62,000 for 2026. That means over 30,000 potential pilgrims will automatically lose out if they don’t act fast.
Those delaying registration or waiting for “later” may end up regretting it bitterly when the available spaces close by December 31st, 2025 — the official deadline for registration and full payment.
Aljawaaz Travels & Tours therefore strongly advises all intending pilgrims to register and complete their payment immediately, before the window closes and chances are gone like what just happened in the UAE.
Remember, early registration means early confirmation — and Allah does not burden any soul beyond its capacity, but negligence is a self-made burden.
