In a significant move aimed at enhancing accessibility and ease for pilgrims, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that holders of all categories of visas are now permitted to perform the Umrah rituals while in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This includes those holding personal visit visas, family visit visas, e-tourist visas, transit visas, work visas, and other types of entry permits.
According to the Ministry, this initiative reflects the Kingdom’s continuous efforts to welcome Muslims from across the globe and enable them to perform Umrah with comfort, peace of mind, and spiritual fulfillment.
The step is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader vision to simplify pilgrimage procedures and expand the range of beneficiaries of the services offered under the Hajj and Umrah system — aligning with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
To support this effort, the Ministry recently launched the Nusuk Umrah platform, a unified digital portal designed to streamline the Umrah experience. Through this platform, pilgrims can conveniently browse packages, book services, choose suitable times, and issue their Umrah permits electronically — all in one seamless process.
“ This initiative reflects the commitment of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, to ensure that visitors to the Two Holy Mosques perform their rituals in a safe and spiritually enriching environment,” the Ministry stated.
“It also underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to providing world-class services that enhance the journey of faith for all guests of Allah.”
At AL JAWAAZ TRAVELS AND TOURS, we celebrate this remarkable development and remain committed to assisting pilgrims in making their Umrah journeys smooth, meaningful, and hassle-free.
